The delicious food!!
When I went? Last night. Saturday, Jan. 5th
Who went? Date night! Just myself and my hubby. Favorite part? When Alpana Singh came up to us and said hi, then was gracious enough to take a pic with me! Aside from getting starstruck, the Lobster Poutine (never even heard of that before) was heaven in a bowl and the dessert we got, the Chocolate Dipped Oatmeal Cookie Sandwich, even if I could only eat a few bites because I was so full and it was extremely sweet and rich, was almost too good. The Kale Caesar Salad was also surprisingly delicious and different (sans the anchovies). Oh, & I also LOVED the wine glass ceiling. Genius! Least Fav Part? My husband and I could not decide whether they needed more waiters on staff or if our waiter was just not that great. He was nice, but didn’t seem too knowledgeable on the menu and unless prompted, did not offer any suggestions for what‘s popular. Above all, we asked the bus boy about 4 times throughout the night to get him for us. He was never anywhere to be found when we needed him! Overall, would I go back? Absolutely! I really did love the whole experience. I know I will be back to the dining room but I also am looking forward to trying the cellar (in the basement) for a night out and/or grabbing a drink and food with friends at the bar on the first floor. I live just a few blocks away which makes it an ideal place to go anytime! |
