Not a joke, my lips have been dryyyyyyy during these past two cold, bitter, winter months.
Like alligator dry. I constantly pick at them with my fingers and even my teeth.  It’s awful and the weirdest part is that I’ve never had this problem before.  I’ve been using Sugar Lip Treatment from Fresh constantly but sadly, the soothing feeling only lasts for 5 seconds before I’m back at the picking, and ummm, sometimes the painful bleeding.Something that I’ve done for years is put Vasaline on my lips before bed. This wasn’t even working for me anymore.  Such a dilemma… what’s a girl to do?  Naturally, I went to Nordy’s and 24 dollars later I bought sara happ® ‘The Lip Scrub™’ Brown Sugar Lip Exfoliator.

Before purchasing, I read great reviews on it but after using it, I mean,
I guess it worked… for the time being anyways. Then, I tried brushing my lips with my toothpaste during my morning and night routine after brushing my teeth. That was a doozy, only making my lips feel more irritated and chapped.I was seriously at a loss for how to handle this problem of mine until I was with my friend Kelli on Sunday and she healed me!!  Well, she didn’t exactly heal me herself, but she introduced me to an amazing product, that has in fact, healed my annoying dry lips.
$2.99 later, I went to Target and bought my new weapon against my
inflamed, sore, dry cracked lips: eos lip balm.
There are so many great things about this lip balm. As their website notes, it’s
“95% organic, 100% natural, and paraben and petrolatum free. Packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil, eos keeps your lips moist, soft and sensationally smooth.”
In addition to all these wonderful elements of the eos balm, another plus is that it comes in all different awesome flavors.
My favorites: Sweet Mint and Lemon Drop

Kel’s a teacher too and she found out about this new miracle balm from her students. I’ve actually seen students using it too at my school but I never thought anything of it. Later, I come to find out that my mom is addicted to eos as well. It seems as if I’m the last one to the party, but I don’t even care, because it works and now I’m left with the softest lips on the planet.

And an added bonus to boot: my husband is a much happier man these days =)
