The POWER CUP for Powering Up

April 12, 2013 in I Adore What I Love
I’ve always been a lover of road trips but do you know what it’s like to get in the car, bringing your laptop computer with you, and then all the sudden, just as you’re gchatting with your bestie in the passenger seat, the computer dies?!This has totally happened to me before and let me tell you, it SUCKS!  I mean, there are worse things in life (obviously) and I suppose in this situation, one might start texting that friend who is still probably waiting for a gchat response on the computer, but it’s not the same, nor is it as easy to have an ongoing, natural conversation.  Because let’s be honest, who wouldn’t rather gchat online with a full keyboard at your fingertips than text or iMessage on a small iPhone or iPad?! Nobody. Yeah, that’s what I thought too. Here’s another situation: how many times have you hopped in your car during the morning of a hot summer day on your way to work and realized that as soon as you left your house your hair became larger than life?  With that, how many times have you wished that you could plug your CHI Flat Iron into your car and spruce up before walking into the office?  Trust me, I can relate.

So what’s the point of me bringing up all these problematic scenarios, you ask? Well, because I found something GENIUS that is sure to solve all of these frustrations:

The Power Cup

The Power Cup is the perfect way to charge all your electronics in the car at once. Typically, your most common and everyday car charger connects via your cigarette lighter socket and can only charge one thing at a time.  On top of that, the only types of electronics you’re able to charge are those with a specific USB cord matching the one of your cell phone.

But the Power Cup is different.

Here’s why:

  1. It still connects via your car’s cigarette lighter socket but it has the ability to charge ANY electronic device, even if it has a regular AC outlet plug.
  2. Not only are there 2 AC outlet plug spaces, but there is also 1 USB charging port too.
  3. READ: you can connect and charge 3 electronic things at once!
  4. It’s shaped like a Starbucks coffee cup and fits right into your car’s cup holder.
  5. It’s extremely high powered and can last for hours, even with all plugs being utilized.

I just ordered mine online, because as you can tell, this baby is the real deal. I can’t wait to put it to the test with not only my macbook, but also with my flat iron, maybe my blow dryer, and possibly my wireless printer… wellllll, I (probably) won’t go that far.

At only $34.99, isn’t this little device GENIUS? What would you plug into it?
