Summer by Bravo

May 24, 2013 in I Adore What I Love

Before you go on to read below, first check out this “Summer by Bravo” promo commercial…

Mesmerizing, right???!?!
It’s no secret that within the past few years, Bravo has become one of my all-time favorite television networks. I know I’ve mentioned it before but seriously, I’m obsessed.  I love every single show the network airs.  Obviously some are better than others but I must not be the only one who has caught on to how great of a network it is because in the upcoming year alone, Bravo has announced that there will be 17 all-new series and in addition, 18 beloved shows will be returning to Bravo’s already uh-mazing schedule.

This makes me excited.  Like, kinda, maybe, abnormally excited.

This summer, I am particularly excited for the all-star (reality) line-up. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and The Real Housewives of New Jersey are back, as is Vanderpump Rules, Top Chef, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, and many more of my absolute favorite mindless entertainment television shows.A few new series that I’m looking forward to most this year, as summarized by the Editorial Staff on Bravo’s Network Blog, aptly called “The Dish”, are:

City Sisters – Fall 2013
The series follows a group of single, up-and-coming movers and shakers in New York’s elite circles of real estate, fashion, and media. These ladies are aggressive in their pursuit of personal and career goals, but in this cutthroat world where egos are high and the drive to succeed is even higher, success can come at a steep cost.

Eat, Drink, Love – Summer 2013
Single, successful, beautiful and connected to the restaurant and food industry in Los Angeles, these ladies take on the traditionally male-dominated industry in their own way as they juggle a world where business always mixes with pleasure.

Southern Charm
The notoriously closed society of Charleston, South Carolina unlocks the gates of their centuries-old plantation homes for a real-life look at how modern-day Southern aristocracy lives. Get charmed by the social scene which is bound by tradition and ostentation unlike any other culture in America, through a group of the city’s most charismatic gentlemen and their Southern belle equals.

Two Fit Girls (working title)
It’s crunch time for best friends and business partners Katrina and Karena, the fearless duo behind While some entrepreneurs have a business plan, these girls use their “street smarts, not book smarts” to push themselves and their brand to wild extremes.

Ladies of London (working title)
Set in the glittering, class-conscious city of London, this new series follows a group of elite British socialites and American expats enjoying the upper crust of the high society world. And while these Brits and Americans all live in the same city, have been married to rock stars, dated royalty, are darlings of the paparazzi and enjoy wealth beyond belief, they are still culturally, worlds apart.

100 Days of Summer
This young, successful Chicago “it” crowd are working the boardrooms and the bedrooms, eager to make a name for themselves, find love and succeed at any price.  With a social circle made up of best friends, former lovers, and current lusts, things are bound to get interesting.

Okay, okay, I admit it, I am excited for a lot of their upcoming shows! What can I say though? I’m a tried and true BravoTV diehard fan… even down to DVRing and actually watching Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live every single night! But which new show am I most looking forward to seeing on the tele?
100 Days of Summer, of course!  It takes place in the Chi and I cannot wait to see this “young, successful, [supposed] ‘it’ crowd” in action!
