Weddings Every Weekend!

May 31, 2013 in I Adore What I Love

Happy Friday, readers!!
First and foremost, I’d like to give my brother, Brad, a shout-out on his 33rd birthday today!  Here’s one of my favorite captured moments of the two of us at my wedding:

So I don’t know about you, but for me, this week has felt like a complete and total blur.  Like, I woke up today and it was already Friday?!?!  Whaaaaaat?  Oddly though, each individual day felt super long and drawn out, but I’m thinking it helped that Monday was Memorial Day which meant I didn’t have to go to work.  In spite of that, for the past 5 weeks in a row my husband and I have been traveling non-stop!  Why, you ask?  Because all our friends have been getting married and obviously we had to be there to celebrate with each and every one of them.  In addition to all these weddings, we also went to our friends’ bachelor and bachelorette parties!  It’s literally been a whirlwind of a ride and that is probably why I’ve been more exhausted that I’ve ever been in my life… no matter, I wouldn’t trade any of these experiences in for even a million dollars.  I’ve loved every single weekend more than the next and below, I thought I would share with you, my lovely readers, the highlights :)

For me, the traveling began the last weekend of April when I headed to Malibu, CA in honor of my friend Jen’s last few weeks of singledom.  We had a blast the entire weekend but the week days following, I could hardly keep my eyes open!  Here are some pictures from the bach party:

Cheers to the Bachelorette!

The next weekend, Isaiah and I headed to Austin, TX to witness my friend Amanda marry her man, David!  It was my first time in Austin and it was such a blast.  I actually felt like I was on a mini vacay!  What made this weekend so special was that all my girl friends were there but Isaiah and I made it a point to spend Saturday together with just the two of us!  Starting with a morning run all over the city, then having lunch before shopping and roaming the adorable downtown Austin, and later, meeting up with some friends to have a drink at The W patio.  It was perfect.  And on top of that, Amanda looked gorgeous and the wedding was great.
