Bloomingale’s is obviously one of my absolute favorite stores on the planet, as discussed in my very first I Adore The Store post, and I love dogs too. Okay, I know what you’re thinking… what do Bloomingdale’s and dogs have to do with one another? Well, as mentioned in my March Must-Do’s post, Bloomingdale’s had an event this past Thursday that I was invited to go to through my friends at Worthee! Do you remember me telling you about Worthee? If not, here’s a quick recap: they are a one-of-a-kind Chicago dog walking, dog training and pet sitting service that you can trust with your dogs and in your home, 27/4. Each of the dog walkers/trainers/sitters first and foremost, LOVE dogs. They go through an intensive background search and are also obligated to attend Worthee University, which is a “top notch, first class, out of this world, super detailed training” program. One of Isaiah’s best friends is actually one of the founders of the company and so far, him and his team have worked hard to gain the trust they deserve within the dog walking community. I think what they are doing is awesome and if I had a dog, they would be the ONLY dog walking company I would call. When I first heard about the Worthee vision, I immediately thought Uber for dog-walkers. You see, instead of promising car transportation within minutes to people around town via the click of a button on the Uber app, Worthee is the only company built from the ground up promising to provide you with a trustWORTHY dog walker or sitter in just a few hours or less of requesting one via their website (they are in the process of developing the perfect app). And might I add that prices are totally reasonable. Pretty cool, right? Right!
So back to the Bloomingdale’s Event, Worthee had a booth there to continue to get the word out about their semi-new company that is successfully growing at rapid rates. There was also a fashion show featuring regular people wearing the latest denim trends as they walked their adorable dogs down the runway. So fun! The whole event was sponsored by Safe Humane Chicago and 10% of the pre-tax portion of all purchases made that night were graciously donated by Bloomingdale’s to their cause. Unfortunately, (and surprisingly!) I didn’t buy anything because while I was incredibly happy to be there witnessing such a cool event in action, after a long day of teaching first graders, I was so not in one of those moods to try anything on… I’m sure you all can relate to that feeling!
Anyways, what are you waiting for?? Go sign up for Worthee’s services ASAP*! Or if you don’t have a dog yourself, just email this post to your friends that do (via the green email button on the pink share bar below). They will thank you later.
*Perhaps you want to become one of Worthee’s walkers or sitters in your free time?
