Let’s Get Reacquainted

January 21, 2016 in I Adore Mom Life, I Adore What I Love

There’s you, me, and sadly a over a whole year of time that we’ve missed in each other’s lives. Blah! My fault! Ok, 3 posts into blogging again and I am officially going to stop dwelling (though, I just can’t believe I allowed it to happen) and start to move on.

Here’s what I’m thinking: I want to put the best content on the web for you guys because I love each and every one of you and can’t handle letting you down this time around.  What do you want to see on the blog in the year 2016? Have any ideas for reoccurring posts? Or any fun topics to chat about in general?? I don’t want to beg but PLEASE let me know in the comments =) #thankyouverymuchinadvance

To begin getting reacquainted with one another, I am going to start by sharing my top 15 moments of 2015!  Here it goes…

1. Watching Brody grow in SO many different ways this year!!!!!!! Born December 29th, 2014 – he changed my world in the best way possible and I don’t think my husband nor I will ever remember life without him! This year was nothing short of incredible and watching Brody grow each and everyday has been truly remarkable.

2. Seeing my husband as a dad. He’s seriously the BEST daddy and I couldn’t ask for a better partner in crime to share this parenting thing with.

3. The first time B slept through the night at about 3 months in!!

4. When staying home on Friday and Saturday nights became the norm and realizing I wouldn’t have it any other way.

5. Going to Aruba with my handsome hubby! It was our first vacay away from the Brodster and although we missed him beyond words, you can’t complain about relaxing in paradise.

6. Seeing my best friend, Blake, get MARRIED! And standing by her side as her Matron-of-Honor. It was such a special wedding weekend and I was honored to be apart of it! I love you Blakey!!

7. Making the decision and being fortunate enough to stay home with Brody full-time this year. Of course I miss teaching first grade but being able to spend each and everyday with my little munchkin is priceless.

8. The week Brody stopped spitting up!!!!!! This is a real highlight guys! He had acid reflux for the first 7 months of his life and well, let’s just say I changed my shirt no less than 7 times a day, everyday. Nice to have that behind us =)

9. Shopping for the Brodster’s wardrobe, making him laugh, and watching him eat. In no particular order.

10. Turning 31. We did nothing fancy but I was able to see and celebrate with everyone who I wanted to at different points of the weekend.  I kid you not when I say this, it was the best birthday to date.
