These Labels By Minted Are A Game Changer

Oh heyyy blog friends! So I am just going to put it out there: I have been obsessed with Minted for years!!

Never heard of it? Allow me to enlighten you: Minted is known for their gorgeous stationary, their chic and unique art work {such as their fine art prints, photography art, typography art, and foil-pressed art}, their home, party, and holiday decor, as well as their wedding shop. They do a lot but what I loveeee about the company is that they do it all well. 

They also have tons of products geared towards baby and kids, like their birthday invitations and decor, as well thank you cards and notebooks. But their most recent creation is absolutely GENIUS… and I am just a little a lot obsessed. They came out with name and clothing labels that are dishwasher safe, laundry safe, water-proof, and non-toxic. Genius, right?! These labels are incredibly durable and you can literally use them for ANYTHING, such as on clothing, bottles, food containers, toys, sports equipment, shoes, and so much more. 

As I mentioned, I’ve been a long-time fan of Minted; so much so that I’ve ordered their stationary numerous times {it’s the best quality} and I’ve been receiving their emails for years. When I saw their email about these water-proof labels, I thought it was such a great idea and I even told my husband about them. Coincidentally, a few days later I was approached by the company to give my honest review on the product and obviously jumped at the opportunity! 

There are literally a million different designs you can choose from and customize to your liking and they are all better than the next. You guys, the only negative about this whole experience was that it took me SO LONG to figure out which designs I wanted to invest in. I decided to go with the “home run” baseball label and the “make your mark” label. They have the cutest boy AND girl options!! You honestly can’t go wrong here. 

Something I loved was that I had the option to write the first name only, the first and last name together, and a phone number or address could be included too. Even a school room number could be added onto the labels if you wanted it to be. Minted allows for so many personalized choices!! 

So far, I’ve put Brody’s labels onto his sippy cups, which by the way, so many of his friends have the same one as him which makes it hard to keep track of Brody’s when a bunch of these babes are together. Now I will always know which one is ours! I also put them on his bento lunch box, his S’well bottle, a few snack containers, inside his shoes, and most recently, I put the labels on a few of his clothes!! We are actually going out of town to see cousins and this way, we won’t get the kid’s shoes or clothing mixed up! 

I totally foresee myself buying these labels throughout Brody’s whole life. When he’s goes to school and camp, I am sure we will put a label on EVERYTHING he owns… clothing, shoes, belongings, backpacks, water bottles, you name it. It’s way less annoying than having to spend the time to write his name down AND it’s way more appealing to the eye. Win win! 

Oh and just so you know, I did put his sippys and lunch box in the dishwasher {actually, I’ve done it numerous times now} and both come out with the label still on looking just as intact and perfect as they did before going in there. Same with his clothes! I’ve washed and dried his clothes that have the labels on them and zero problems. Seriously I’m obsessed! 

And if that’s not enough, another positive about Minted is that independent artists are the people who are creating all their designs. It’s essentially a design marketplace for artists to gain exposure and build their businesses. So cool that Minted is giving these people such a wonderful opportunity and platform to grow their career! And when you receive your order, it comes with an envelope enclosed with a note from the artist who created what you bought! It’s such a personal experience.

One more thing! When Brody was in daycare for 3 months we were required to write his name on all his bottles, bibs, and anything else we brought in… like a special toy or even his butt paste. I always used a black sharpie but because I was washing everything so much, the marker would continuously come off {even though it was supposed to be permanent} and I’d have to rewrite his name nonstop on all his stuff. It was SO ANNOYING. I only wish I had these labels when he was in there!!! I said it before and I’ll say it again: GENIUS.
