This post is in partnership with Little Harvest. As always, all opinions are 100% honest, my own, and never influenced by the company. Thank you for supporting brands that make I Adore What I Love possible =)
It’s so funny. When Brody was a baby, I was legit COUNTING DOWN THE HOURS until I was going to get to feed him real foods! I also was very adamant about making my own baby food for his sensitive little belly. Babies need the best, right? RIGHT. Eventually, I ended up giving him pouches because making my own food because a little too tedious for me. Still, I constantly felt guilty about it. Fast forward to having baby #2 and there was NO chance I was making his baby food. Ha! Who has time for that? Answer: NOT THIS MOM.
Enter Little Harvest!!! Little Harvest is a local-to-Chicago baby food company that makes fresh, healthy, and organic baby food delivered straight to your door. They make the food in a licensed commercial kitchen and within 24 hours, it’s at your front step. I mean, the second I heard about this, I was like – SIGN ME UP!!
You don’t have to even be home when it’s delivered. It will stay cold in the box until you unpack it. But that’s not even the best party of this company! The ingredients that they use are seasonal, organic, Non GMO, and plant-based. What’s more is that they are completely free of preservatives as well as top allergens including: soy, dairy, gluten, nuts, eggs and shellfish. It’s basically as if I made it myself. But I didn’t and instead was able to use my time way more wisely by hanging and playing with my kiddos! {or, let’s be honest, by taking a nap during their nap time. Ha, just being real here}
Whether you have a 4 month old just starting to eat {in my case, 6 months because #secondchildlife} or a child up to 3 years, Little Harvest can meet the food needs of your little ones. All you have to do is go onto their website, take a look at their seasonal menus, and decide what you want to purchase for the week. There’s a subscription option or you can do without that too. Everything is customizable and it’s SO EASY!!!!! Plus, in each box you’ll receive storage instructions, food notes, and reusable ice packs. Anddddd it’s really reasonably priced! Use the code DANAIVY for 25% OFF your first Little Harvest order!! I mean, in my opinion, the fact that I can rest easy knowing that my baby’s food is the best of the best even though I didn’t personally homemake it myself is kind of priceless! Am I right or am I right?!?!
Levi is currently eating their stage 1 foods and so far, his favorites include their baby hummus, carrot puree, and he also LOVES their applesauces! They just came out with their new fall menu and we can’t wait to try it.
